Each set is between an hour and an hour and twenty minutes long, so they are suitable for burning onto CD. Fables (four part set)
Fables is a series of sets that might best describe Danny's journeys through a night of music. Different stages of the night call for different methods and moods to the rhythms that pulse from the speakers. Every DJ has a different idea of what those methods and moods may be... this is Danny's.
01:: Legends 1
Legends 1 calls up the beginning; a bumpy, jackin' ride through electro, funk, and disco. It sets the vibe by gearing everybody into the beat and setting them up for the long ride.

01:: Second Thoughts 01
When Danny distributed promotional copies of his Broken Intellect CD in 2002, the response was overwhelming. Near the end of 2004, several of Danny's close friends remarked that they would love to hear another progressive breakbeat set. He took this to heart and the result was two hours of phenomenal breakbeats split into two sets. Here is the first, with a soft opening that slowly, inexorably, gains momentum. Inexorably. 02:: Second Thoughts 02
Picking up with the progressive breakbeats that dominated the first disc of Second Thoughts, the second half soon moves into something more funky, more nu-skool. It climaxes with the heavily techy Electrofly before mellowing out and letting you back down gently. The journey through a Broken Intellect ends on a beautiful, apocalyptic note that will ring through your mind from time to time.

The roots of house music are in disco, and some of the first electronic dance music I was exposed to was disco house. DJs like Charles Feelgood would tear the party up with some groovy, soulful, filtered beats. Even today you can feel elements of disco in so much of the music that keeps dancefloors moving. Recorded in 2003, In Dreams marked a return to trance in many ways for Danny. Having left the genre in the late 90s due to the proliferation of second rate tracks, Danny ventured another look when artists like Markus Schulz and Andy Moor began to prove that trance was still a relevant genre. Though In Dreams can be said to be almost fully in the realm of progressive house, the elements of trance within the mix cannot be denied.
